I cringe at the thought of how close Startup Addict came to launching at the Web 2.0 Expo this year. The one thing about bootstrapping is the old tried and true cliché of:

1. Quality
2. Fast
3. Cheap

You can only have 2 of 3. Next year we’ll be there for sure, a little bit wiser, hopefully a whole lot bigger and with an arsenal of startups funded by amazing entrepreneurs. The Web 2.0 Expo 2007 truly has some amazing companies this year. It may not be the year of the widget after all.
