Happy to be here from Agaric Design Collective

As a co-founder of Agaric Design Collective, I have to say it feels very good to be here-- a bit like home!

As Drupal developers, as a start-up ourselves, and as a provider of consulting and services to startups StartupAddict.com is a perfect combination for what we are and what we want to be.

We're looking forward to being part of the growth of the community here and perhaps introducing our own interpretations of this space, as parts of startup addict or as complementary community sites.

First, as a nonhierarchical collective we want to challenge the insidious dichotomy of "freelancer" or "employer". There's a whole world in between the two where most of the innovation and magic happens.

Second, we dreamed of starting something like StartupAddict also, and while that project (Power To Exchange) is dormant, we had one additional twist on the concept that I think is worth sharing and looking for collaborators to pursue- that is to allow anybody to propose ideas for products or services they personally would like, and for other people to say they're interested too. Then these ideas could be connected to entrepreneurs and investors to make them real.
