A friend of mine (also an avid blogger) has proven once again the importance of link building for proper ranking with Google. He runs a home construction improvement blog that has had tremendous success over the last few years. He ran a test on a very specific keyword Lowes coupon to see how how quickly one well written post could rank in the Google top 10. He focused on quality link building rather than quantity and within 5 inbound links he was in the Google top 10 for a keyword that is pulling in thousands in adsense revenue in the number one slot.

An impressive display of linking building and a reminder we all need to continually focus on Search Engine Optimization efforts as well as looking for quality authoritative inbound links to assist out link building campaign.
